5 Firearm Safety Tips
Our mission is to offer everyone a fun, safe experience at our world-class shooting facility. Unfortunately, the time between between Christmas and the New Year is a period when most accidental shootings occur. Ahead of the holiday season, we want to speak to the importance of gun safety and share tips to ensure you and your family are prepared and protected!
1. Celebrate Appropriately
When enjoying “holiday spirits,” do not attempt to operate your firearms. Children are out of school and guests are gathering, so ensure proper firearm storage.
2. Know Before You GO
Hunting season and the holidays go hand-in-hand. Take a Hunters Safety Course, and wear eye and ear protection.
3. Practice Muzzle Discipline
Assume your gun is always loaded; keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction and keep your finger off the trigger when not firing.
4. Know Yourself
New year, new you. Be an active participant in your safety and maintain a training schedule.
5. Gift Responsibly
Firearms are gifted to thousands during the holiday season. Ensure the recipients are informed by gifting proper training courses.
